Seaweek Educators' Expo - Friday 19 February 2010

The Department of Fisheries will be hosting the 2010 Seaweek Educators' Expo - Western Australia's premier education experience for Seaweek at the NMDC.

Seaweek is the Marine Education Society of Australasia's major annual campaign to increase understanding and appreciation of the sea and its living organisms.

The theme for Seaweek in 2010 is "Oceans of Life; Oceans to explore, ours to restore".

Seaweek Educators' Expo is a fantastic learning and professional development opportunity — you can network with like-minded educators, meet knowledgeable marine and coastal educators and find out the latest in marine education in Western Australia.

Who should go?
Seaweek Educators' Expo is suitable for Primary and Secondary teachers, pre-service teachers, environmental educators, and anyone interested in learning more about marine education in Western Australia.
